How to assemble an engine

While looking around on the old inter-web I came across this remarkable video where a guy takes 3000 pictures while taking about and reassembling his 4 cyl engine.  Watching the video I could not help but think I wish parts would come off and go back on with such ease.  The funny thing is the engine appears to come apart and go back together on its own.  Check it out.

Bought a new Jeep Wrangler JK Unlimited Rubicon now what?

We recently bought a 2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon to design some new parts around. The Jeep JK and JKU have grown in popularity in the offroad community. It does not seem like this body style has been around since 2007. At the previous shop I owned the JK was not our focus. We were busy building full tube chassis crawlers and fabricator parts for the DIY segment of the offroad industry. Now I want to mix things up a little with more JK related parts.

Working with my daughter in the shop

Many people say they want to be in the offroad industry building custom vehicles. Many don't understand the time spent away from the ones you love. Friday night while eating dinner with my family discussing the need to go back to the shop to finish a couple projects my 9 year old daughter asked to go help daddy. After a brief discussion we jumped in the new 2014 Jeep Unlimited Rubicon we bought earlier in the day. I think she just wanted to ride in the new Jeep JK.
